“I think my ultimate motivator, driving force in life probably, is humor. I think that finding humor in any given situation gives me confidence because it always kind of makes you look at the silver lining in things.”

Going way back to April, I was fortunate enough that my awesome neighbor Alfonso, invited me to go to the Magic Castle in Hollywood. It was reinforced that magic is sooo freakin cool, Jenson Ackles is one of the sexiest men out there, I can never finish steak all by myself, and Abed will never learn to be on time though he turns out to be good company, nonetheless. Definitely a memorable night. I wish I had some photos.

                      Jab                                                We                                          Met

I watch this movie as often as I can, it makes me happy.

Me: So you’re obviously Phoebe, but what character do you think I resemble the most?

Leah: Hmm, you’re like a little bit of Monica and Rachel…you’re the love child of Monica and Rachel.

If I’m not wrong, this should be my last packed Thursday. I took exceptionally good notes in Astro for once and I made it a point to tell Laurin, hah. Then I went to the one place on campus I feel most comfortable in, the Aronstam library. I finished up all my work there and then met up with Scott. We went to the USU for free printing (of course) and then to the Habit to satisfy our starving stomachs. And oh my God, there were some really awkward moments and misconceptions that made it so much fun. Afterwards he headed for his study group and I went to RS.  At first I thought it was so pointless to be there since we learned about Islam, as if I haven’t studied that enough. I came to realize that…I had forgotten the first of the five pillars, woops. Then I had the Honors Reception to attend at 4:30. Meaning I had an hour and a half to kill, which surprisingly went by fast. I met Eric at the Oviatt and caught up on some Anthro notes, I love how every time I need him, he’s conveniently available and always at the right spot. I was supposed to take Zhak as my guest to the reception but she couldn’t make it. I invited Ahmadou last minute, and he came! The reception went GREAT, and I’m so glad I went because well…*blushes.* (I’m not even going into that).  The students and faculty are so awesome in the honors department. I sat with a group of five other people and we had a great time, to the point where we were the only group left sitting in the room. Dr. Wightman eventually came to us and  told us to take the remaining food and get going. You can kind of tell that one wanted to leave because everyone was connecting with each other so well. After Ahmadou was done packing up the left over Middle Eastern food for his “sister,” we took the bus back together. He kept making me laugh so much, it drew too much attention. I can never laugh at an appropriate noise level, but whatever. Every time he said V - - - - - - -, I couldn’t help but giggle! Anywayssssss, I got off at Laurel Canyon per usual and Mun picked me up so we can go to hookuh, like old times! He’s always good to talk with, I’m glad we finally had time to catch up. I am more than satisfied with how today went. (:
